Sean Dooley, CCP

Mr. Dooley has more than 10 years of experience providing dispute resolution and advisory services to both ongoing and completed construction projects located domestically and internationally. His dispute resolution experience covers the preparation, evaluation, and management of construction claims at the project level and expert-related services for litigation, adjudication, and arbitration proceedings for the power, process, industrial, and commercial construction industries. Mr. Dooley is experienced in entitlement evaluation, causation analysis, damage quantification for both cost and time, and report preparation for matters involving construction delay and disruption, labor productivity, prolongation, constructive and directed acceleration, change orders, weather events, termination, force majeure events, and design and construction defects. His advisory experience includes the commercial turnaround and delivery of capital asset projects, the development of project-specific progress monitoring tools, and the training and mentoring of project resources to develop a commercial awareness during the execution phase of projects. Additionally, Mr. Dooley has designed processes and procedures for ongoing construction projects focused on document and data retention, project controls best practices, and proactive change management practices. Prior to joining Veritas, Mr. Dooley held senior positions in numerous consulting firms, located both domestic and international, specializing in the provision of dispute resolution services for the construction industry and was assigned for six years to a power plant construction project in South Africa.

Cameron Poth, CPA

Mr. Poth has more than 13 years of experience evaluating financial and economic damages in connection with complex commercial disputes. Mr. Poth has considerable experience analyzing, rebutting, and preparing claims of damages for clients involved in litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes. Mr. Poth has consulted with clients in various industries on a variety of dispute resolution matters including: bankruptcy, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business interruption, dealer termination, estate and trust disputes, financial forensic investigations, fraudulent transfers, intellectual property infringement, oil and gas disputes, personal injury claims, and white collar fraud investigations. Mr. Poth has performed various financial services for clients including: financial analysis, funds tracing, financial investigations, and oil and gas royalty examinations.

Amy M. Streater

As the Director of Operations, Ms. Streater oversees Veritas’s financial and administrative operations; this includes evaluation and management of the firm’s accounting, operating, and information systems, human resources, supervision of administrative personnel, maintaining relationships with vendors and supervising the facilities of the firm. Ms. Streater works closely with senior management to meet the firm’s objectives and long-term strategic goals. Ms. Streater has more than 25 years of experience managing offices in multiple industries, including construction and professional services. She has knowledge and experience in accounting, contract administration, financial planning and reporting, and human resources.

Courtney W. Pigott, CCA

Ms. Pigott has more than 10 years of experience in estimating, subcontractor coordination, cost analysis, and scheduling. Since joining Veritas, Ms. Pigott has consulted with counsel and clients on matters such as contract disputes, cost controls, design review, and schedule acceleration/delay for engagements on multiple projects in a variety of industries. She has assisted in the quantification and presentation of delays, impacts, and resulting costs for the prevention and resolution of construction disputes involving cost overrun, loss of profit, loss of productivity, trade coordination, and defective work, among others. Prior to joining Veritas, Ms. Pigott worked for FCI Construction Company as an Assistant Project Engineer and was involved in building the Austin Community College Health Careers Center, Phase 1, as well as preparing for the mobilization of Phase 2.

April C. Parrish, CCA

Ms. Parrish has over eleven years of experience in consulting matters regarding construction, scheduling, and accounting. Ms. Parrish has prepared and analyzed claims for defective work, schedule delays, change order work, cost overruns, productivity losses, weather impacts, disruptions, and terminations. Ms. Parrish has performed analyses of cost and schedule impacts, production and fabrication delays, and critical path scheduling. Ms. Parrish has worked on a variety of projects including airports, convention centers, stadiums and arenas, upscale condominiums, industrial facilities, light rails, highways, hotels, cell phone towers, and self-storage facilities. Throughout her career, Ms. Parrish has assisted owners, contractors, and subcontractors. Ms. Parrish is certified as a Construction Auditor by The National Association of Construction Auditors and a Certified Engineer in Training (EIT) by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.

Timothy L. Geeslin, CPA, CFF, CIA, CCA

Mr. Geeslin has more than 40 years of experience in accounting, finance, internal audit, operations, sales, and marketing. Over the course of his career, Mr. Geeslin has performed internal audits in a variety of industries including: banking, construction, government, retail, and real estate, among others. He has served in accounting and operations, in real estate development and property management, as well as in sales and marketing in the staffing and technology industries. Since joining Veritas, Mr. Geeslin has consulted and performed cost analysis and cost reviews on a variety of matters including airports, pipelines, power plants, rail facilities, refineries, and commercial construction projects. In addition, he has consulted with clients on a variety of dispute resolution matters including cost, financial, accounting evaluations of complex commercial litigation disputes. The types of matters for which Mr. Geeslin has provided services include: Federal Acquisition Regulation compliance reviews, breach of contract disputes, business interruption, bankruptcy, insurance disputes, white collar fraud investigations, construction claims and business valuations.

Lisa M. Buck, CCA CCP

Ms. Buck has more than 37 years of experience in construction and consulting. Her project experience spans a variety of areas and responsibilities including project management, contract negotiation and administration, estimating, cost control, subcontractor coordination, consulting, expediting, budget management, safety, design development, and scheduling. Ms. Buck’s construction experience includes the following types of projects: power plants, offshore platforms, data facilities, university and high school facilities, low and mid-rise office buildings, hospitals, space/missile support facilities, performing arts, chemical plants, and paper mills. Ms. Buck’s construction experience includes public, private, and government funded projects in domestic and international locations. Since joining Veritas, Ms. Buck has consulted on a variety of construction matters including pipelines, stadiums, water treatment plants, power plants, museums, hospitals, schools, data facilities, rail, roads/highways, independent/assisted living facilities, and airports. Her efforts have primarily involved schedule analysis, quantification of construction delays, acceleration, evaluation of disruption claims, construction cost analyses and review, mediation support, and analysis of claims regarding defective work. Prior to joining Veritas, Ms. Buck held positions with Brown & Root, Incorporated in various locations throughout the United States and in Bahrain, with Linbeck Construction Company, and with Zachry Construction Company.
